Molly Haigh has spent her career as a media strategist, field manager, and organizer for progressive causes ranging from climate change to Democratic candidates and immigration reform to LGBTQ rights.
Molly got her start in politics on local Alaskan candidate campaigns and went on to join federal races including President Obama's 2008 campaign and Scott McAdam's 2010 campaign for US Senate in Alaska. She has since used that political experience to leverage progressive issues to prominence though effective messaging, media outreach, and political organizing strategies.
Molly comes to FitzGibbon Media from 350.org, a grassroots international climate campaign. While at 350, she helped amplify their media coverage for major days of action and campaigns including their successful fight to defeat the Keystone XL Pipeline and to support #Occupy. As the creator of 350.org's grassroots media program, she assisted and trained hundreds of climate activists in gaining local, regional, and national coverage for their events and campaigns.
Molly was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska and loves to fish, hike, bike, and explore the outdoors.
